Ashiatsu
Experience the unique and relaxing benefits of Ashiatsu. In Japanese, "Ashi" means foot, and "Atsu" means pressure. Ashiatsu is a massage technique that utilizes the therapist's feet and body weight to deliver deep, broad, and consistent pressure while working with gravity.
During the treatment, your therapist applies cream or oil to your body and uses parallel bars for balance, support, and your safety. The broad surface of the therapist's feet provides consistent pressure that contours nicely to your body, allowing for up to 3x deeper pressure than traditional massage methods without causing any discomfort.
Ashiatsu can help relieve muscle spasms, free up bundled nerves, and open the intervertebral foramen, where spinal nerves pass through. This massage technique can elongate your muscles, relieve pain and discomfort, and detoxify your body by flushing out metabolic waste.
Make sure to drink plenty of water before and after your treatment to help with the detoxification process.
In addition, Ashiatsu has been known to improve posture and range of motion, reduce chronic muscle pain, and improve bodily functions, resulting in a higher sense of balance and well-being.
*Due to the compressive nature of Ashiatsu, it may not be suitable for everyone. If you're pregnant or trying to conceive, have high blood pressure, recent injuries or surgeries, contagious skin disorders, a compromised immune system, acute liver or kidney disorders, certain medications, acute autoimmune disorders, recent surgical implants, or advanced diabetes, Ashiatsu may not be right for you.
