Cultivating Heart Centered Wisdom

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come.”

Jelaluddin Rumi

This is a time where we can sit together share tea and be in our natural state, find stillness and remember the serenity of deep listening to your inner knowing. Guided by Sufi teachings that remind us the power in embracing life's journey with heart, humor, and unwavering love. Sufism is a way of life focused on nurturing qualities that lead to a deeper understanding of unity. It's not about rigid beliefs, but rather about recognizing what blocks understanding and embracing what opens the mind to direct experience. It's not about blindly following external authority, but about having trusted guides who help us access our inner truth and wisdom along the journey.

“True Sufism is always a reality that eludes form. It can never be fully embodied in form and takes on all manner of forms, innumerable forms for its expression and manifestation. And yet its whole essence remains secret, hidden, beyond form.” Pir Zia

“The Sufi is the one whose thought keeps pace with his footstep. The one who is where she stands. The one who is present here with feet firmly planted on the earth. The one in who body and soul are united in presence, in awareness.” Abu Muhammad Murta’ish

Rites of Passage

Cerimonial traditions from around the world hold a similar essence because they are rooted in our physiologic and psychologic NEEDS.

These needs are the same - no matter what lineage we belong to.

The differences of the respective practices reflect the differences in our land-based environments and the way we were taught to connect to spirit.

It is my goal to provide cerimonies that transend cultural barriers and speak to the universal soul.

In every tradition there were ceremonies honoring the great transitions in a women’s life. It brings me great joy to offer ways to honor the first menstruation, new mothers, naming celebrations for babies, and closing ceremonies for post birth or abortion. I draw upon my Sufi background for the universal understanding of all religions, and for guidance, direction, and inspiration. No two ceremonies are alike though they may have similar foundations, they are improvisational and are as unique as the individual women and families I am working with to create them. I would love to help you create a meaningful moment for a transition in your life.
